This is a great Spey instructional video, maybe the best I have ever seen. One little wrinkle I will add, if your planning on casting a long line this way, is to not over rotate when you throw your D loop behind you. Instead of throwing the D loop directly behind you at , say, six o’clock, throw it somewhere between four and five o’clock so when you cast, your D loop will be directly behind you.
