I had a chance to fish with my buddies Deathstar lined with a Skagit Flight and a MOW tip. Dang, I wish I had never sold mine. One of the most fun rods ever to cast. If you still have one don’t upgrade. I have yet to find one.
Ok, short but sweet: Use lightish sink tips to start with. Use moderate flies keep your coils off of the water as much as possible More later. Gotta run.
